AADHAR CARD NUMBERS TO BE LINKED WITH POPULATION REGISTERS FROM SEP 1 TO SEP 30

Bathinda, : The first phase of India’s census 2011, which covers house listing and housing census, was held from April 15 to May 1, 2010. Under house listing schedule of every house hold being conducted for entries in concerned National Population Register (NPR database) for its updation and citizen registration and national identification letters rules 2003, the NPR databse is being linked with the Aadhar card number.
The municipal commissioner Municipal Corporation Bathinda Mr Dalwinderjit Singh stated that the field work for conducting house-to-house survey has been done. From November 1 to November 30, these teams will be visiting every census area. For updation of the records of Bathinda residents the team will ask for Aadhar card, EID enrollment slip, ration card and mobile numbers of each member should be provided. He appealed the people living in municipal limits to cooperate with the teams that will visit for conducting the exercise and give the correct information and supporting documents to the teams.
