61ST PUNJAB SCHOOL GAMES 2015-16 BEGINS AT MALUKA

Bathinda,:61st Punjab State School Games circle kabaddi under 19 girls and gymnastics 14/19 boys/girls 2015-16 are being held at Government Girls Senior Secondary School Maluka and Government Senior Secondary School Maluka (boys) from Nov 2 to Nov 6
The Cabinet Minister Mr Sikandar Singh Maluka inaugurated the games, took salutation from the march past and hoisted the games flag. The ADC (development) Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma was also present at the event. Mr Maluka called upon the players to play with the spirit of sportsmanship. The DEO (secondary) Dr Amarjit Kaur Kotfatta welcomed everybody. Around 573 players from 22 districts of state are participating in this event. The event started with students of Government Senior Secondary School (girls) Maluka presented shabad. Teams from different schools also presented cultural programs.
Prominent among others present included nagar panchayat president Harjit Singh Maluka, member nagar panchayat Maluka Khurd sarpanch Baljit Kaur, principal Navtej Kaur, principal Jant Singh, principal Kulwant Singh Kaler, Manjit Singh Dhunna, chairman Gagandeep Singh Grewal, Rakesh Kumar, Happy Bansal, Mahant Santokh Das Dyalpura Mirza and others.
