16 new Healthy Punjab Health Centres in district to provide better health services: kamboj

Rajpura : Punjab government has been making continuous efforts for the last four years to provide better health care facilities to the people of the state, under which 116 Healthy Punjab Health Centers have been dedicated to provide bet- ter health care services to the people living in villages across the state.
These views were ex- pressed by Rajpura MLA Hardial Singh Kamboj after attending the virtual inau- guration ceremony held at Rajpura Civil Hospital across Punjab to strengthen the infrastructure of the state.
He said that in order to of pregnant women, new borns, children and the el derly and treatment, family planning, communicable and non-communicable diseases, diagnosis, pre vention, management and emergency services of men tal illness including dental, eye, nose, ear, throat are also available free of cost.
provide health facilities to the people of the villages, He said that each center Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had set up Healthy Punjab Health Centers with the post of Community Health Offi- cers and health check up would cover a population of around 5,000 and would also keep a record of their health which would help in the treatment of the disease.
