None can ever match unparalleled growth and development during SAD-BJP regime: Harsimrat Kaur badal

Bathinda,: Union Food Processing Minister Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal today asserted that Punjab had recorded unprecedented development under last 9 year rule of SAD-BJP whereas Congress in its more than 50 years regime did hardly anything tangible for the welfare of People.
Talking to media persons after distributing 442 free bicycles under Mai Bhago Vidya Scheme to girl students of Class XI and XII of local Government Senior Secondary School, Mall Road, Mrs. Badal said that Punjab was a leading welfare state, which had also made rapid strides in the field of education, power, governance reforms, road and air connectivity. She said that this unprecedented development was the result of visionary and pro-people approach of Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal.
Calling the people of Punjab to compare the rule of SAD-BJP and Congress regime, Mrs. Badal said that Congress was indulging in cheap tactics and malicious propaganda to mislead the people of the state but the ground reality was that Punjab had registered massive development during past 9 years. She urged the wise people of Punjab to at least seek explanation from the anti-Punjab Congress leadership what good so far they have done for the development of the state and welfare of people.
Answering a media query regarding reports of revolt in Aam Aadmi Party, Mrs. Badal said that it was just a beginning and the simmering storm of revolt would sweep the party away in totality. She said that the days of AAP in Punjab were numbered and it was moving fast towards its decimation. Mrs. Badal said that the first list released by AAP had proved that even senior leaders of party had lost faith in the leadership and credibility of Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, who had earlier backstabbed the people of Delhi. She said that AAP has been losing ground in Punjab day by day.
“Not only Party leaders but even the people have also started deserting it. Subsequently, the situation has gone to that extent that its party leaders had already realized and understood the old habit of Mr. Mr. Kejriwal to ‘use and throw’. The eruption of bitterness amongst party cadre reflects that the party leaders were far more worried to make their own fortunes thereby blatantly ignoring the interests of party workers.
Replying to another query about the electoral prospects of SAD-BJP in 2017, Mrs. Badal said that alliance was heading towards a hat-trick and it would surely form its government exclusively on the plank of development and welfare of the people.
Meanwhile Mrs. Badal flanked by Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Parkash Chand Garg and Mr. Sarup Chand Singla besides MLA Mr. Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu distributed 442 cycles to students at local Mall Road Schoo, 58 at Bangi Kalan, 42 at Talwandi Sabo and 38 at Bhagi Wander. Mrs. Badal also planted a sapling in the premises of Government Senior Secondary School Mall Road under Nanhi Chaan drive. She also distributed sewing machines and saplings at Talwandi Sabo.
