Induction-cum-Welcome Session 2015-16 in Khalsa College Patiala

PG Department of Computer Science of Khalsa College, Patiala organised an “Inducaion-cum-Welcome Session 2015-16” for the students of first year. More than 150 students of B.Voc. (Software Development), B.C.A., M.Sc. IT and Diploma Courses attended this program. There was an introductory session for the students and they were told about the achievement of the College.
While addressing the students Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, Principal of the college told the students about the ethical values of life and the importance of extra curricular activities. He inspired the students to work hard and follow strict discipline in their life to achieve their goals. Prof. Sukhmeen Kaur, Head of the Department, discussed about the scope of computer in upcoming era. She also described the rules and regulations of the college to the students. She appreciated the decision of students to opt for such good professional courses.A PPT on the achievements of the institution was shown by Prof. Jatinder Kaur. A number of faculty members also participated in this program.
