DEPUTY COMMISSIONER CONDUCTS SURPRISE CHECKING OF FARD KENDRA

Bathinda,:Deputy Commissioner Bathinda Dr Basant Garg today conducted surprise checking of the Fard Kendra in District Administrative Complex wherein he talked to different visitors to the facility and directed the officers to ensure that people are provided services in time.
With ADC (D) Mrs Shena Aggarwal, Dr Basant Garg reached the Fard Kendra at 10:45 am wherein farmers and other people present told him that their works were getting delayed. Dr Garg directed the officers concerned and CMS of District Administrative Complex that the public services be imparted without any delay and any kind of laxity will not be tolerated. The representatives of company told Dr Garg that they had lesser counters to which Dr Garg asserted that in coming days the number of counters will be increased. He added that the matter will be discussed with Chief Secretary Punjab and the procedure of increasing number of counters will soon be completed.
Dr Garg said that interacting with people helps to know Fard Kendra working in a better manner and said that ADC (D) Mrs Shena Aggarwal will look over the work of Fard Kendra so that people do not face any kind of problem. Reiterating government’s commitment of giving priority to people’s work, Dr Garg directed the officers to ensure that people were provided services within the time frame of Right To Service Act.
Dr Garg said that the officers and employees should report at their work places well in time so that people are not left waiting in long queues to get their works done.
