As a part of Community Services, Bank organized a training programme for Bank recruitment exams for the visually impaired graduates and post graduates from Punjab at their Training center Infotech Academy from 8th to 13th June 2015. Navchetana, a charitable institute for the blinds has taken efforts to communicate to the participants. .12 Persons attended the programme. Mr Ashish Sabarwal Director of the Dhruv Institute for Competitive exams and faculties, Mr Jolly and Madam Gurmail kaur from the Academy took the sessions. While the teachers have said it is a wonderful experience, the students also expressed gratitude to the Bank for such an innovative programme and the residential and boarding arrangements by the Bank, over the personalized teaching by the teachers and personal care taken by the Academy staff.
An Art of living Happiness programme was also conducted by Mr Rajiv Kaushal. The participants expressed that they have been prepared for the Bank exams as well as with the Art of living programme to face every situation in life happily.
During valediction, the DGM and Principal of the Academy Mr. Vijay Rake shared that the Bank is committed to take up initiatives for benefit of the society where ever necessary and possible.
