A Book of Principal, Khalsa College Jeewan De Ang-Sang’was released

A Book of Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, Principal, Khalsa College, Patiala, titled ‘Jeewan De Ang-Sang’was released at Khalsa College, Patiala. S. Surjeet Singh Rakhra, Minister of Higher Education, Languages, Water Supply and Sanitation was the chief guest of the function. The Book Release function was presided over by Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar, Former President, S.G.P.C., Sri Amritsar. Dr. Satish Kumar Verma, Dean, Languages, Director, Youth Welfare, Punjabi University, Patiala was the Guest of Honour.
S. Surjeet Singh Rakhra while congratulating Dr. Ubha said that Dr. Ubha is a proficient writer and his keen observations about life have found an expression in his book, which is replete with motivating examples and philosophy from his life. He also said that sincerity always bears fruits of success and prosperity because a clear vision filled with a sincere effort can never go in vain.
Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar said that Dr. Ubha has a fine legacy of writing skills and he has always used them for recording his prudent ideas about life. He said that this book of Dr. Ubha has much to offer in the philosophical field of our lives. Dr. Satish Kumar Verma while addressing the gathering said that Dr. Ubha has the ability to draw a realistic picture of society which only a good artist is able to do. He also said that the writings of Dr. Ubha have the fragrance of his rich cultural heritage and are deeply rooted in the soil of his nation.
Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha while talking about his book said that he has tried to write about those events of his life which have contributed in his growth and his success. They may not sound very important to the reader but their impact has always remained with him Dr. Harmail Singh Tohra, Additional Secretary Local Managing Committee, was also present at this occasion. Dr. Jasleen Kaur, Vice Principal-Administration, welcomed the guests. Dr. Kuldip Singh Batra, Head, PG Department of Chemistry, presented the vote of thanks. Prof. Jaspreet Kaur conducted the proceedings.
